Nope. Never shot the MP7. But I have shot the PS90. A FA P90 or real-deal MP7 might make some sense due to volume of fire -- but in semi, I just found the 5.7 to not leave me feeling very confident in the round. Glorified .22 mag, bottom line. That said -- I would buy an MP7 look-alike in .22 mag or .22 LR as a plinker at a $500 price point.

The MP7 is legally considered a weapon of war under German law. Germany also owns the intellectual property for the design, because it is a weapon of war. To say that HK is not really motivated to release it is to significantly understate and misrepresent the real causes of the difficulties.
